Privacy Policy
Effective October 25, 2026
Schedule Blender ("we", "us") helps a group of people find time they're all free and book it onto their Google calendars. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Google account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture URL and Google account ID.
- Google access tokens. We store the tokens Google issues so we can sync your calendars while you're away. They are encrypted at rest.
- Calendar information. For the calendars you choose, we read the list of your calendars (names, time zones and whether you can edit them) and the start and end times of events, so we know when you're busy. We do not store event titles, descriptions, locations or attendees of your events.
- What you enter. Group names, invitations (including invitees' email addresses), plans you book, and your settings such as time zone and notification preferences.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) used to keep the service running and secure. We use a single cookie to keep you signed in; we don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To work out when the members of your group are all free.
- To add plans you or your group book to the calendars you've chosen.
- To show group members each other's names and which calendars count toward their busy time.
- To send invitations and, if you turn them on, emails about new shared free time.
- To secure, maintain and fix problems with the service.
We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Google user data
Schedule Blender's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google Calendar data only to provide the features described above; we don't transfer it to others except as needed to provide the service, comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; we don't use it for advertising; and no person reads it unless you ask us to help with your account, it's needed for security or legal reasons, or it has been aggregated and anonymized.
Who we share it with
- Members of your groups see your name, email address and the free time you share, but not the details of your events.
- Service providers that run the service on our behalf: Fly.io (hosting and database, in the United States) and Resend (email delivery). They may only use your information to provide their services to us.
- Where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of others.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while you have an account. Busy times are refreshed continuously from Google, and old ones are removed. You can stop us accessing your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page. To delete your account and the data we hold about you, email us at scheduleblender@dgrussell.com and we'll do so within 30 days. Plans already added to Google calendars stay there until removed in Google Calendar.
Security
We use HTTPS for all connections, encrypt Google tokens at rest, and limit access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to how we use it. Email scheduleblender@dgrussell.com to make a request.
Children
Schedule Blender isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email or in the app.
